Medciphers provides home based services that empower the elderly and disabled to continue living at home in a safe, secure and independent environment. Medciphers hired AJM to revamp an outdated logo and brand system while retaining brand identity.
As a quickly growing company, Medciphers realized they were in need of a brand refresh beginning with their outdated logo. The company wanted to retain their brand identity by maintaining similar colors from their previous design, as well as a flag motif to emphasize the business’s focus of working with non English speaking clients.
The new design takes on a geometric style giving the logo a much more modern feel. The addition of a bright orange helps give the brand a more innovative look in comparison to the previous monotone color palette. The outdated flowing flag and abstract M from the previous logo was transformed into the stripes of a geometric M, making up the brand mark.
The justified, sans serif font pushes the modern and clean look forward and mimics the hard, flat edges of the brand mark.
The new Medciphers brand guideline contains over 30 pages and covers every aspect of the brand’s identity from allowed logo use, color and font specifications, to all print assets.
The designs inside the brand guideline including letterhead, brochure, business card, and much more, begin to build a strong visual brand by using the mark as a design element and showing how to use the brand colors and fonts appropriately.
